Enjoy this classic 7 Up sign featuring advertising from the early stages of the soda! "Fresh Up" was a huge success which made 7 Up what it is today. Porcelain enameled signs have been said to be a true visual reflection of the times. When used for advertising, the signs gave a brilliant permanence to the product. Today, these advertising signs are a collectible artform. Our porcelain enameled signs are made up of authentic reproductions utilizing the same process popularized in the early 1900's. The colors are not paints but finely ground glass crystals which, when kiln fired at 1350 degrees F, fuses to the heavy 18 guage steel plate. Each color is applied and fired seperately, creating a durable, lustrous and rust resistant product. All of our collectible porcelain signs are hand crafted in the USA, and much heavier than a standard tin signs. This beautiful sign measures 13.25" x 9". Riveted holes make for easy hanging.
